Emergency Medicine

With 49 emergency departments – including a dedicated pediatric ED at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center and 10 trauma centers – Baylor Scott & White Health is equipped to handle your patients' emergency needs.

In addition to providing emergency services in all hospitals across North and Central Texas, Baylor Scott & White Health also has a network of licensed emergency medical centers.

Trauma Centers

Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple are two of only 17 Level I Trauma Centers in the State of Texas.

In addition, several Baylor Scott & White hospitals are designated trauma facilities.
